お客さんが使われた焼き印練習済み杓子も勢いよく燃え上がりました。

(7)50分くらいしてやっと火が治まってきたので・・・

めいめい餅焼きの始まりです。

(8)子ども会のみなさんが御神酒やらぜんざいやらを準備して

皆さんに振舞っていただきました。

とんどの餅焼きが終り、ぜんざい御神酒の世話役もみんな帰って、
火がとろとろ火に治まったところで、町内会会長副会長が残って火の様子を見ながら
世間話をしていたところ、火渡りをするのにちょうどいいあんばいでした。
が、このおじさんは日頃から不信心のかたまりみたいな者ですから
大火傷間違いないので止めときました（笑）

杓子おじさんからの手紙でした。

今年もいろいろな話題をお待ちしておりま～す。

続いて・・・宮島杓子供養式のご案内

日時：明日1月16日（土）午前11時から

場所：光明院　　　誓真大徳碑前

内容：杓子供養式が行われ、古くなった杓子への「感謝の手紙」（一般公募）の

入賞作品が発表されます。

古くなった杓子を持参すると、一緒に供養してもらえます。

杓子供養式へ参加できない方も宮島内の物産店へ預けられても供養していただけます。

食物に感謝！！道具（杓子）に感謝！！

日々、色々なものに生かされているのですね。

のどかで良い田舎風景ですね。
子供のころはとんどの会場が家の前ということもあり、楽しみでした。

パンパンと竹の焼ける音！！
銀紙に包んだお餅もいつも焼けすぎになり試行錯誤したのを思い出します。
灰のついた真っ黒のお餅は一度洗い、七草粥に入れて食べたものです。

宮島では、まだとんどへ行った事はありません。
