いよいよ年の瀬で慌しい毎日ですね。
今年一番のおめでたい報告をしておきます。
我が宮島細工協同組合の理事でロクロの伝統工芸士である藤本悟先生が
11月に叙勲（瑞宝単光章）を受けられました。
藤本先生は「ただ、ひたすら生活のため作品を作ってきただけ・・・」と。
でも、自分の腕をひたすら磨くということはなかなか出来る事ではありません。
伝統を受け継ぎながら時代の流れを感じ、受け止める。
また、自然素材を相手なので1つとして同じ物はありません。
そして何より、すばらしい技術！！
作品が出来るまでには「まず刃物から・・・」と鍛冶屋仕事にもこだわっておられます。
今後もどんどん作品を残し、そして次の世代へご指導をお願いします。
なかなか、明るい話題の少ない昨今におめでたい話題でしめくくれうれしいです。
