ついこの前に5555人目、7777人目をお迎えしましたが瞬くうちに8000人目は通り越して、
はやいもので本日(11月27日)一万人達成のお客様をお迎えしました。
昨年の４月にこの体験コーナーが始まってから、一万人目を本日達成しました。
神戸から来られた「つつじが丘小学校」の生徒さん35人と引率の先生方でした。
「一万人目のお客さまです」とお伝えすると生徒さん達の目の輝きがいっきに変わってきました。
天井が抜け落ちるくらい元気にヒモ引っ張ってクス玉がひらくと歓声が飛交いましたが、
予定が相当詰まっていたようで歓喜に浸る間もなくいっきに杓子づくりを仕上げて、
大急ぎでカメラにおさまっていただきました。
次は２万人、３万人、５万人・・・１０万人目を迎えた時にはこの体験コーナーはどうなっているでしょうか？
どんな杓子おじさんに変わっているでしょうかね？
それとも杓子おばさんじゃなかった杓子姫に変わっているでしょうかね？
今の杓子おじさんとは一味も二味もちがったやりかたが展開されていることでしょうね。
どんな変わり方を見せてくれるかとても楽しみです。
200才まで長生きしてやるのが今の杓子おじさんの目標です。
当日は地元情報紙「西広島タイムス」の記者の方も取材に来てくださいました。
