11月14日（土）・15日（日）に宮島特産品 産業祭りが開催されました。
多少風は冷たいもののお天気は良く、桟橋前広場は賑わいました。
これが、宮島細工のロクロです。ロクロは足でペダルのように踏み回します。
そして、少しづつ材料が削られていきます。
足と手の微妙調節はさすが職人技です。
ロクロの製造工程はあまり見ることがないのでとても興味深いです。
そして、見ているこちらの方が息をのんでしまいます。
こちらは、数少ない宮島細工の後継者（ロクロ）の若手ホープ。小林さんです！！
こちらは、宮島彫りの実演です。
大きいお盆に繊細な彫りが施されていきます。
そして、今回目立っていたのがモモレンジャー！！（チームM)
そう、雛めぐりでも共にイベントをした安田女子大学の書道文化専攻のみなさんです。
念願かなって、桟橋前広場でのイベントでした。
慎重にお客様のご希望の文字を杓子に書きました。
その場で好きな文字が入れられるのでお客様にも好評でした。
若さとすばらしい書で関係者の間でもとても高い評価をいただきました。

So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can't resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”
