今日は子供の学校の給食試食会がありました。
宮島学園では各学年年1回は保護者が給食を試食する機会があります。
開催においては、各学年に一任のため高学年になるにつれ開催されなくなっているのが実状です。
今回は2年生のクラスの試食会でした。
メニューは＊かやくごはん＊金時豆甘煮＊磯和え＊みぞれじる＊牛乳・・・でした。
給食が始まると、栄養士の先生から献立の説明がありました。
＊かやくごはんの語源は加薬からきており加薬とは主な薬に他の薬を加え効果UP！！
おいしいご飯をよりおいしく色々な具材を入れることからかやくごはんと言われる。
また、江戸時代には加役（ごはんにゆずなどを混ぜ込む事）・・・この意もあるのでは・・・
こんな、豆知識も聞き先生や保護者からも「ふふ～ん。そうなんだ～」と声があがりました。
考えてみたら、我家では炊き込みご飯という呼び名ですべて通っていました。
こんな話を聞くと、すべての料理にそれぞれ意味があるのですよね。
ただ、見た目や具材だけで名前がついている訳ではないのですね。
これからは、名前にも注目してみたいです。
給食といえば、中学校を卒業する時「これで一生食べる事ないのか」とさみしい思いでしたが、
まさか、宮島へ来て毎年食べれるとは。そして、おいしい事(^-^)V
なるべく地産地消を心がけられていたり、ダシからとられていたり・・・
予算も安価なのでマクロビ食に近い体にやさしい給食です。
今回の私のお気に入りは、もやしとほうれんそうと海苔の和え物＊磯和えでした。
家でも作ってみたいと思います。
子供が学校給食でどんな物を食べているのか？
どんな思いで作られているのかを親がもっと知ると、給食への感謝気持ちで
給食費滞納問題なんて起こらないのに・・・と感じました。
お母さんも給食の献立表を見ながら賢く一日の栄養を考えたいものです。
・・・と言いつつ、我家はよく給食とメニューがかぶったりします。はい、反省です。
子供もお母さんとのランチタイムに苦手な野菜も頑張って、いい顔を見せてくれました。
