城下町ならではの白壁
昨日は宮島でご商売をされている方々と山陰の小京都萩へ行って来ました。
萩までの道中、道の駅などへより素朴な接客に触れ、ゆったりとしたバスツアーでした。
まずは松陰神社へ参拝し、松下村塾での吉田松陰の教えについて学習。
１、目標をもつ ２、読書 ３、つながり（ひと、地域など）
いつの時代でも基本は同じなんですね。
小さな村の小さな塾から多くの優れた指導者が誕生しました。
萩の宿常茂恵
お楽しみの昼食は「萩の宿常茂恵」にお邪魔しました。
「萩の宿常茂恵」は「宮島ホテルまこと」さんが経営されています。
落ち着いた和のたたずまいで感じの良いお宿でした。
お食事もきれいなお料理でとてもおいしかったです。
お食事のあとは、お部屋見学もさせていただきました。
貴賓室は木造はなれの総檜作りで、お部屋の窓からは庭園が眺められます。
とても贅沢な気分をちょっぴり分けていただきました。
いつか、泊まってみたいですね。

最後は重要文化財である菊屋家住宅を見学し、城下町をぶらりと散策しました。
城下町の中で一般住宅が共存する様子は宮島にも通じる部分があり、興味深かったです。
宮島から一歩出てこそ見える宮島がありました。
また、いろいろな土地を訪れてみたいです。

Strange this post is totaly unrelated to what I was searching google for, but it was listed on the first page. I guess your doing something right if Google likes you enough to put you on the first page of a non related search. :)
