肥松の丸盆（尺2寸約36ｃｍ）
光りにかざすと・・・・
これは、肥松のお盆です。肥松は松脂を含んだ材です。
肥松は、木綿布で乾拭きをすると、テレピン油にとけた松脂がふき出しては固まって
ほどよい色ツヤに仕上がり、磨くだけで天然塗料となります。
使い込むほどに年々色ツヤを増し、磨くほどに情がうつります。
磨きこんだ肥松お製品は、光にかざすと透き通ったアメ色になります。
そして、色々な表情をみせてくれます・・・まさに、生きています。
先日、ネットｼｮｯﾌﾟにお客様から肥松製品の注文を頂きました。
木は自然素材なので、一つ一つ風合いが違います。
だから、今提供できる商品を個別に画像を送りお客様に判断していただきます。
そのお客様とも、4,5回メールのやりとりをしたでしょうか・・・・
回数重ねるうちに、対面販売をしている感覚になります。
お客様の顔も分からないのに、メールの文章からお客様が見えるのです。
お客様の考え方、商品に対する思いなどが伝わってきます。
肥松は上で説明したとおり、手入れが必要な嗜好品です。
現在の生活は、使い勝手重視な部分が多いので正直あまり好まれません。
しかし、よさを知っていらっしゃる愛好家には根強いファンがいらっしゃいます。
ピカピカに磨き上げられた品を見たことはありますが・・・・
実は、私も自分で磨いて使っているものはありませんでした。（特に丸盆の大きいもの）
そこで、お客様に提案する商品を探しに商品庫に入ると良く肥えた丸盆を発見しました。
しかし、それは長年手入れされずにあったため松ヤ二が固まりベトベトで最悪な状態でした。
しかも、残念な事に中心部にキズがあり商品にはなりません。
そこで、ベトベトなお盆を自分で磨きこんで使ってみることにしました。
あまりにもひどい状態だったので、一度機械にかけてヤニをとってもらいました。
それが、上のお盆です。これだけ肥えた国産材はもうなかなかありません。
キズものですが、磨きこんで愛着を持つには十分です。
売る側の自分が商品を知らなければ・・・・
そんな思いにさせてくれたのも、お客様とのやりとりがあったからです。
今回感じた事は、オンラインｼｮｯﾌﾟなどで便利な時代になっても、最後は人と人。
手段、方法は違っても最後の決め手はこれですね！！
ちょっと長くなりましたが、最近のうれしい出来事だったので紹介しました。
