これは昔の宮島の写真です。
桟橋から神社へ続く参道の辺りですが、昔はこの辺りに桟橋があったそうです。
そしてすごくたくさんの船が集まっているのは夏に行われる管舷祭の様子で、
当時の賑わいぶりがうかがえます。
今の宮島と昔の宮島を比べて見るのは面白かったです。
他にもいろいろありまして、つい足を止めてみてしまいました。
この写真は、島の文房具屋さん「松文書店」に本と一緒に飾ってあります。
松文さんの奥さんが快く説明してくれ、写真も撮らせていただきました。
文房具屋さんも写真の中にも映っているほど、
歴史があるお店で、中も懐かしい雰囲気です。
子どもの筆記用具が足りなくなった時、いつも買っている本を届けてもらったりと、
なくてはならない文房具屋さんです。
