氏神祭に行ってきました。
午後1時から、15年ぶりに復活した子供神輿と大人の杓子神輿が練り歩きました。
同じ廿日市の山の方からやってきた吉和小学校の3,4年生も一緒に「わっしょい、わっしょい！」。
夕方からは宮島太鼓の祭囃子も練り歩きました。
祭囃子を聴くとお祭り気分が盛り上がります。
今年は、大勢で氏神祭に参加しましたが、やはりお祭りは人数が多い方が楽しい。
せっかく残っているお祭りを地元の人が盛り上げて、次につながればいいと思いました。
これをきっかけに来年以降も、子供たちの参加が増えればいいな。
うちには吉和小学校の児童が一人ホームステイしたのですが、
全く知らない人の家に一人で泊まりがんばったと思います。
それに触発されていつもより良い子で世話をしていた我が子たちもいい経験になりました。
