10月3日・4日に狂言の厳島神社奉納公演がありました。
万作・狂言１８選、宮島狂言です。
この狂言１８選は数ある狂言のなかから、万作が選りすぐりの１８選を全国で公演しています。
この近辺では、島根県出雲大社などでも公演されています。
宮島では『舟渡聟』と『武悪』が公演されました。
私が狂言を見るのは初めてです。しかも、生で・・・・。ミーハーな私は万斎しか知らず。
行くまでは狂言の予習をしておかねば・・・と思っていたのですが
そんな時間もなく当日を迎えてしまった(-.-;) 不安いっぱいに厳島神社へ向かいました。
座席も回廊に作られた桟敷席！！
薄暗い中、映える能舞台とその向こうに優しく見守る大鳥居！！気分は、最高でした。
まず、初めに万斎さんの解説がありました。
とてもわかりやすく楽しい解説だったため、私の不安も一気に消えました。
1作目の『舟渡聟』はわかりやすいコミカルな内容でした。
２作目の『武悪』は初心者のわたしには、少し難しいないようでした。
しっかり、予習して来れば良かったと少し後悔(-.-;)
でも、初めの解説のおかげでストーリーはわかりました。
今回の狂言初体験で思ったのは、こんなにコミカルなものなんだとビックリ！
確かに、猿楽の滑稽味を洗練させた笑劇・・・納得。
そして、小道具（竿一本、刀一本）でその情景を思う浮かばせる立ち居振る舞い。
これには、感動しました。テレビのない時代にできたもの。昔の人はすごいな～。
今の人がどれだけ、見て味わえるか・・・と思いながら見ました。
こんな、すばらしい伝統芸能が厳島神社の能舞台で鑑賞できた事に感謝です。
能舞台も、松や竹林の緑が鮮やかでした。昼では見れない貴重な体験でした。
また、機会があったら見たいです。今度はしっかり予習して・・・
