８月下旬、久しぶりに鷹巣浦の浜辺を歩きに行きました。
まだまだ陽射しは強かった(-_-#) でも、ハマゴウの花を見ることができてうれしかったです。
ハマゴウは７月中旬から８月下旬に咲く浜辺の植物です。
浜辺をはうような低木で、かわいらしい紫色の小花です。
緑の葉っぱの中にある紫色の小花はとても涼しげで、暑さを忘れさせてくれました。
近年、砂浜がキャンプ場や伐採の貯木場になったため、宮島ではだいぶん減ってきているそうです。
植物を取り巻く環境もとても厳しくなっています。
そんな知識を少しだけ頭に入れて、自分達にできる努力をしていきたいです。
とりあえず・・・・採ったり、踏みつけたりせずに成長を見守りたいものです。
また、来年もこの花たちに会いたいから。
