宮島体験イベントの紹介です。
宮島のおみやげもの産業を代表する「杓子づくり」と「もみじ饅頭手焼き体験」です。
通常は1週間前までの要予約ですが、夏休みイベントとして柔軟に対応します。
日時は以下のとおりです。
「杓子づくり」
日程：7/21（祝）・7/26（土）・27(日）
8/2（土）・ 8/9（土） ・10(日）・8/23（土）・ 24(日）・8/30（土） ・31(日）
時間：土曜日10:00～ 日曜日祝日13:00～
時間内で定員40名までで随時体験できます。
所要時間：約30分
金額：315円
内容：荒削りしてある杓子をサンダー等で仕上げをして焼印を押す。
アドバイス：家に持ち帰った杓子に色を塗ったり絵を描いたり、写真・ビーズなどを貼ったらもっとオリジナルな杓子に大変身！！
そして、夏休みの工作の一点にもなりますよ。

So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can't resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”

@chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don't have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn't write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.
