ここ２，３日宮島も暑い日が続いています。
早くも、うだうだ・・・な感じです！？しかし、このお天気も長続きしないとの事！！
今のうちに衣替えにむけて大量の洗濯をしなければ・・・
暑さで困るのは庭の植物たち・・・・水やりが大変です(-_-#)
でも、この時期は色とりどりのお花が満開で楽しい季節でもあります。
～花ことば・赤い薔薇～愛・情熱・熱烈な恋
我家の庭では、パンジー・ビオラ・バラ・アメリカンブルー・サフィニアなどが咲いています。
なかでも、薔薇の成長が1番の楽しみです。
なぜなら、苗がすべていただきもので何年も大切にしてきたものだからです。
年によっては花つきが悪かったり、小さかったり・・・なかなか思うようにはいきません。
今年はとてもキレイに咲いてくれました。
赤の薔薇はもう5年くらいになりますか・・・ご近所さんに10センチ位の挿し木でいただいたものです。
薔薇は西洋でもとても高貴な花とされているだけあって、優雅な気持ちにさせてくれます。
これからも買った苗でキレイさだけを求めるのではなく、大切にひと苗を育てていきたいです。
自分でも挿し木に挑戦して増やしてみようかな？？

薔薇の全ての花言葉が「情熱」だと思ってました。白い薔薇と赤い薔薇では違うんですね！！
ましてや薔薇の葉まで花言葉があるなんて勉強になりました。
