先日行われた「押し花NIPPON大賞」に行ってきました。
宮島の展示の会場は、厳島神社、千畳閣、大聖院。
期間中は寒い日が続きましたが、押し花の作品はまさにお花畑のようで、
そこだけ春がやってきたようでした。
花の自然の色を生かしながら、それぞれの作品はとても美しく、
こんなにちゃんと押し花を見たのは初めてでした。
写真は、厳島神社に飾ってあったグランプリ作品です。
宮島水中花火大会の様子が、押し花と和紙で表現されています。

私も見に行きましたよ。さすが、上位入賞作品は遠近感のある作品でしたね・・・・。
見に行った時、一人の若い男の子が「すべての会場を見たいのですが・・・」と尋ねられ、こんな若いのに押し花に興味があるなんて・・・と思い話ていると、どうやら作品を出品したらしいのです。そこでまたビックリ！！でした。なんでも母親がやっていてちょっと興味があったから、近場で開催される今回の大会に見よう見まねで、初めて一作品ほど作り出品されたそうです。しかも、それが入賞したとのことで彼は嬉しそうに話してくれました。この先がとても楽しみですね・・・将来、この道を極めて先生になられていたりして・・・・(#^.^#)
