12月31日大晦日の宮島はチラチラと雪が舞う肌寒い一日となりました。
しかし、寒さにまけず鎮火祭で活気あふれていました。
私も鎮火祭見物初デビューしました。何年宮島に住んでいるんだ・・・・(-_-#)
夕方6時を過ぎると、石鳥居付近に松明に浄火をいただこうと地元の人々がたくさん集まりました。
そんな中、家族や同級生・企業など大小様々な松明が威勢の良い掛け声とともに駆け回りました。
それを見ているとこちらまで熱くなりました。我家のミニ松明にも点火！！
初めて見物して感じた事は、このような行事は今はイベントとして行われているのかな？？と思って
いましたが、多くの地元の人々が参加していてビックリ！！したのと同時に伝統の重みを感じました。
とっても良い体験でした。今後も出来る限り色々な行事を見物したり参加したいな・・・と思いました。
あと少しで今年も終わりますが、ジモティーブログはいかがでしたでしょうか？
来年もタイムリーな小さな気づき、情報をお伝えできれば・・・と思います。
