先日、宮島幼稚園で恒例行事の「もちつき会」が行われました。
宮島では、お祭りなどでもちつきは今でも身近な行事です。
どこの家にも石臼があり、今でもその名残で軒下にオブジェのように置いてある石臼を目にします。
宮島のもちつきにはもちつき歌があり、これは餅をつく歌とこねる歌だそうです。
三味線と歌と元気な掛け声で餅をつく手に力が入り、リズムよくお餅が出来上がります。
宮島幼稚園の「もちつき会」でも地域の方々の好意で昔からのもちつき体験ができました。
もち米を蒸すのもクドに薪！！本物の石臼と杵！！そこから出てくる温かな湯気！！
すべて、昔のままのもちつきで子供も大人も大喜びでした。
もちろん、つきたてのお餅はおいしかったです。

しかも、三味線と歌付き。風情があっていいですねぇ。
きなこ餅に、あん餅、お醤油をつけてもいいし・・・あ～今すぐ食べたいっって感じです。

@chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don't have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can't resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman.
