牡蠣の季節到来ということで、
貝の牡蠣は宮島で有名ですが、
ちょっと面白いお菓子を…。
その名は、「かき打ち娘」。
宮島で牡蠣を水揚げして、その殻から牡蠣の身を取り出すことを「牡蠣を打つ」と言います。
その牡蠣打ちをする娘さんと言う意味で、なんと牡蠣のクッキーなんです。
と言っても、牡蠣を混ぜたクッキーではなく、コーンフレークをまぶして牡蠣の殻のようにして、
見た目も牡蠣。
そして、味も牡蠣の味がするんですよ。
隠し味はひじきだそうです。
研究に研究を重ねて、作られたクッキーで味も素朴で美味しいです。
是非、一度食べてみてください。
話題になるので、お土産にも良いです。
