「たのもさん」とは・・・・旧暦の８月１日に行われる紅葉谷にある四宮神社の例祭。
各家々で作った「たのも船」を夕刻から持ち寄り、祭事が終わると
神社周辺から流します。
「たのも船」はろうそくの灯りを燈し大鳥居の側を通り対岸の大野へと
出ていきます。
「たのもさん」は「田面船」「田の実船」とも書かれ、農作物に感謝し豊作を願う
祭りです。対岸の農家はこの「たのも船」を海岸で拾い田畑に供えておくと
豊作になると信じられていたようです。
今年のたのもさんは９月１１日（火）に行われました。今年はたのも船づくり初心者でも気軽に参加できるよう、事前にたのも船づくりのワークショップも開催されました。
私も行ってきましたよ！！たのも船づくりのポイントは町内のお兄様方が優しく教えてくださり、初心者でもそれなりに満足できるものができました。
なかには毎年数ヶ月かけて作られるものもあり、見るだけでも楽しめます。 当日は紅葉谷でミニコンサートや縁日もありました。
大鳥居のまわりに、ろうそくを燈して浮かぶたのも船・・・きれいでした。
今年は２艘の船が大鳥居をくぐって行きました。思わず拍手喝采！！
あまり知られていない町内のお祭りですが、素朴に受け継がれていることがすばらしいと思いました。また、今後も受け継いでいきたいお祭りのひとつです。

However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”
