大相撲の巡業が宮島にもやってきました。
中学校のグランドに会場を作るということで、宮島はちょっとしたお祭りムード。
当日は、幟が並び、会場には力士がうろうろ。
大ファンではないけれど、琴欧州や高見盛、千代大海などを目撃すると気分が
高まる。
土俵の上での稽古では、ぶつかる音や掛け声など臨場感たっぷりでした。
そして、宮島幼稚園や小学校の男の子が参加したちびっこ相撲。
相手をしてくれた大きな力士はびくともしなかったり、片手でひょいと持ち上げられ
たり。 あとは、わざとよけたり、大きなリアクションで土俵下に落ちてくれたりと
改めて運動能力に感心しました。
「気は優しくて力持ち」の力士に胸を借りて、良い思い出を作ったようです。
