2007年6月7日のお散歩情報
お散歩をしていると、長枝切りバサミと殺虫剤・ライターを片手に
椿の葉っぱとにらめっこしている知人のおじさん発見。
ｙｕｋｏ：「何してるんですか？」
おじさん：「チャドクガを退治しとるんよ。」
「ここは、幼稚園道じゃけん。よ～見とってやらにゃ～の
毛がついたら大変じゃけんの～。」
なになに・・・・っと葉っぱに目をやるとチャドクガの幼虫が
葉っぱ一面にぎっしりついていました。思わず、鳥肌が・・・・(〇o〇;))))!!
チャドクガは椿や山茶花ついていて、毛が肌にあたるとものすごい
かゆみに襲われ皮膚科へ行くほどすごいらしい・・・。
そのため、駆除方法は殺虫剤をかけライターで焼ききるのが一番！！
おじさんの姿を見て、宮島の子供って地域の人々に大切に
られているんだな～ってうれしくなりました＼(^O^)／

☆チャドクガの特徴☆
お茶の大害虫。白と黒の長い毛がたくさん生えている毛虫。
体は黒地にオレンジ色の線がある。年2回発生し，春の発生を見逃すと，
秋大発生する。初齢の頃は集団で，終齢に近くなると分散する。
毒針毛があり，触れると激しいかゆみに襲われ発疹ができる。
繭にも毒毛が含まれ，成虫も幼虫時代の毒針毛を持っているので注意。
