宮島の家庭にはこのような代々伝わる重箱があります。
これは、大正生まれの方が子供のころから使っていた物だそうです。（輪島塗）
春になるとこの重箱にたくさんのお料理をつめて、お花見などに行ったそうです。
中でも、厳島神社の桃花祭御神能を豪華なお弁当を食べながら見るという事は
春の一大イベントだったそうです。
お弁当とニッキ水は欠かせない！！との事
（注：今は飲食をしながら見る事はできません。）
桃花祭御神能：桃花祭の法楽として４月１６日から3日間にわたって行われる
神能は江戸時代からの形式をそのまま継承し、初日と二日目は最初に「翁」が
演能され、三日間とも五番能が演じられる。

宮島の神能へ時々観に行く者です。
以前には当年のプログラムがネットで見られたと思うのですが、ご存じないですか？
今年は三日間雨のようですね。
私は友人と明日行く予定です。
宮島へ渡る前に上野のあなご弁当を買っていこうと思ってます。

プログラムの件ですが、以前、宮島観光協会で1度だけアップされたそうですが、今はやってないそうです。ただ、宮島桟橋の観光案内所にプログラムがおいてあるようなので船を下りられたら寄ってみてください。

現地で落ち合った友人の好きな観世流の大江信行氏は朝の内に出られたみたいで残念がっていました。
やはり初日に行って現地でプログラムをゲットしてから二日目以降の攻略法(？)を探らねばなりませんね(笑)
雨の日は少し音が聞き取りにくいですが、空いてて真正面に座れるのが良いです♪
また上野のあなご弁当は、現在あなご不漁のため数量限定販売になっており買い損ねました(泣)
